Effective, Monday, October 5, 2009, the ACS Provider Services Call Center hours of operation will be from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time.

 

 

November and December Holiday Processing Schedules

 

Receipt of warrants and EFTs will be delayed by one or two days due to the Veterans Day holiday on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 and due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday on Thursday, November 26, 2009.

 

Due to the Christmas Day holiday on Friday, December 25, 2009, the claims processing cycle will include electronic claims accepted before 6:00 P.M. Mountain Time on Thursday, December 24, 2009. The receipt of warrants and EFTs will also be delayed by one or two days.

 

 

Prior Authorization for Non-Emergent CT, Non-Emergent MRI, and All PET Scans

 

Effective August 1, 2009, Colorado Medicaid requires all outpatient clinics to obtain prior authorization for non-emergent CT, non-emergent MRI, and all PET scans.  Please refer to the "What's New" link on the Department's Web site at colorado.gov/hcpf or click  here  for more information.
