GOV. RITTER STATEMENT ON TONY FRANK AS CSU PRESIDENT FINALIST
Gov. Bill Ritter today applauded the Colorado State University Board of Governors for naming Tony Frank as the finalist to become the CSU Fort Collins president.
"Throughout his career, Tony has distinguished himself as a dedicated academic and a principled leader," Gov. Ritter said. "As a proud CSU alumnus, I know Tony has earned the respect of the university community as he rose through the faculty ranks for his numerous scholarly achievements and professional accomplishments.
"I am grateful for the personal and professional commitments and sacrifices Tony has made on behalf of CSU, and I look forward to working with him, CSU Pueblo President Joe Garcia and CSU Chancellor Joe Blake to continue improving CSU and keeping the system affordable and accessible to all Coloradans.
"During a year of transition at CSU, Tony has provided strong and steady leadership and been a great partner with my administration.
"I am confident that the best of Dr. Frank and Colorado State University is yet to come."
