"The decision by President Obama to sign the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act here in Colorado is a history-making honor and privilege for our state. It is a testament to the President's belief that this package will help people in states all across America.
"For Colorado, it's an acknowledgment of what we have accomplished and what we must continue achieving when it comes to creating jobs in the New Energy Economy. With President Obama coming here to highlight the New Energy Economy, we believe more than ever that Colorado can serve as a model for the rest of the country.
"For the past few months my office has provided valuable input to President Obama and our congressional delegation on how the recovery package can strengthen the economy by creating a new energy future for all of America. The recovery package will allow us to continue driving Colorado's New Energy Economy forward, continue creating renewable energy, efficiency and weatherization jobs, and continue making Colorado a renewable energy research leader."
