DENVER — Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 — Gov. John Hickenlooper announced these Boards and Commissions appointments today. The appointments were to the Identity Theft and Financial Fraud Board and the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Advisory Council.
The Identity Theft and Financial Fraud Board communicates with local authorities and constituent groups to increase awareness of the board, the Colorado Fraud Investigators unit, and to further its purposes and those of law enforcement and prosecutors. The member appointed for a term expiring June 30, 2015:
Laura A. Romero of Centennial, to serve as a representative of depository institutions, at least two of whom shall be from a state or national bank, and occasioned by the resignation of Laura L. Rogers of Brighton.
The Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Advisory Council advises the Division of Criminal Justice and the governor on matters pertaining to juvenile justice in Colorado. They also assist, review and approve the annual Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Plan.The member appointed for a term expiring July 31, 2015:
Katharine “Jenny” Ellison of Loveland, to serve as a District Attorney, and occasioned by the resignation of C. Michelle Brinegar of Fort Collins.
