Gov. Hickenlooper announces appointments to the Board of Trustees of the Colorado School of Mines

DENVER — Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced appointments to the Board of Trustees of the Colorado School of Mines.

The Board of Trustees of the Colorado School of Mines makes policy for the school and oversees its operation. These appointments are dependent upon Colorado Senate confirmation. The members appointed are:

• Vicki J. Cowart of Denver, to serve as a graduate and as a Democrat, for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2015, reappointed.
• James R. Spaanstra of Lakewood, to serve as a non-graduate and as a Democrat, for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2015, reappointed.
