The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) in partnership with the Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC), and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will release a Request for Applications (RFA) through the “ALT Fuels Colorado” grant program for partial funding of compressed natural gas fueling station equipment, and co-located electric vehicle charging and propane auto gas station equipment.


The preliminary bid period for alternative fueling stations, launched on June 26, 2014 is now CLOSED.

The CEO anticipates announcing new funding rounds approximately every 6 months between 2014 and 2017.

Tuesday, July 8: Final date for submission of written questions.


Friday, July 11: CEO will respond to questions regarding the RFA in the form of an FAQ posted to the CEO website.

Thursday, July 24: Application window closes at 11:00 PM (MST).


Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting on Thursday, July 3.  Any program updates or changes will be posted to the CEO website.  Please also keep in mind that only station operators are eligible to submit applications for station funding through the Alt Fuels Colorado program.
