• Since the State Personnel Board Director's authority to review a residency waiver request is a quasi-judicial function, the Board Director cannot meet with requesters to discuss their residency waiver requests.
• Any residency waiver for a specific position number that does not have a specified expiration date will expire when the position, for which the waiver was granted, is initially filled. The agency must request a new waiver to recruit out-of-state applicants for any subsequent vacancies for that position.
