The Human Resources Unit (HRU)

This unit is responsible for the facilitation and administration of DPA's internal personnel functions such as:  selection, job evaluation, compensation, benefits administration, orientation, performance management, employee recognition, dispute resolution, and training coordination.
 

The Budget Unit

The unit is responsible for managing the departmental budget, the analysis of the fiscal impact of legislation, statewide common polices, communication with and deliverables to the Joint Budget Committee (JBC), the Governor's Office of State Planning and Budgeting (OSPB), and Legislative Council.

The Accounting Unit

This unit provides DPAs general accounting, fiscal coordination, management and oversight, as well as internal payroll and time keeping processing.

 
The Government and Public Relations Unit

This unit responsible for department and statewide communications, public and media relations and inquiries, responses to open records requests and the Departments relationship with the General Assembly.
