It is the policy of the State of Colorado to use strategic and effective business tools like flexible work arrangements wherever appropriate. Flexible and alternative work arrangements, such as Flexplace (telecommuting), Flextime, Job Sharing, and Accommodations for Nursing Mothers are proven business tools that allow state supervisors and managers to effectively manage state resources and the work environment, while accommodating the changing needs of a diverse work force.
