Property Program

The State of Colorado is self-insured, and insures over 6,000 properties including all land owned by State agencies and institutes of higher education.  The State Office of Risk Management is also responsible for insuring a variety of real and State-owned personal property including (but not limited to) buildings, furniture, aircraft, electronic equipment, boilers and machinery, fine art, vehicles and their attachments, outdoor fixtures and tunnels.
