Human Resource Audits

The state personnel director is responsible for the oversight of the state personnel system, which includes conducting compliance reviews and audits of departments' human resources management and operations pursuant to C.R.S. 24-50-101 (3)(c) and (d). This authority is delegated to the Division of Human Resources in the Department of Personnel & Administration and is performed by the Consulting Services Unit. 

 

Consulting Services also conducts all HR audits as a proactive diagnostic tool, objectively designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of statewide HR practices, help agencies mitigate risk factors, and identify and share innovative practices and policies.
