Colorado BIDS: Solicitations and Price Agreements

The Colorado Bids Information and Distribution System (BIDS) is a web site designed to notify interested suppliers of the State of Colorado's intent to purchase goods or services competitively. These notifications are termed "solicitations". Since the State of Colorado has chosen to decentralize the procurement process, the purchasing agents at the various executive branch agencies post solicitations on Colorado BIDS so that the public may know of their intent to provide goods o services. For suppliers then, Colorado BIDS acts as a centralized clearing house of information on bidding opportunities for these agencies. Suppliers must be registered with Colorado BIDS in order to respond to these bidding opportunities.
