Courier Services

When you are part of the IDS delivery system, you are entitled to interoffice mail and pickup of all outgoing mail delivered to the IDS processing plant. This service also includes the delivery of printed material produced by IDS Print Operations.
 

• Interoffice Delivery
  
  

  Interoffice references the mail that travels between all state agencies with a 24-hour turnaround. We have routes in the Denver Metro area through the southern region of the state, including Pueblo, Colorado Springs, and Canon City.
  
  Interoffice mail must be labeled with an electronic or paper interoffice tag in order for the shipment to be tracked from origin to destination when requested.

• Special Runs Services
  
  

  Special runs are provided for large pickups or deliveries that cannot be handled on your end. IDS is not limited on the type of shipment being requested and we can move items from 1 envelope to 100 pallets, in secure vehicles and trucks, when normal delivery services cannot accommodate your need.

Mail Security Scans

Upon request, IDS can pick up mail from the United States Postal Service or received from private couriers such as UPS and Fed Ex, and scan each package to make sure that state facilities are protected from incoming mail threats. If the machines detect anything, we alert the state, local, and federal authorities and work with them to rectify the problem.
