"First Choice for Service"
The Division of Central Services was created by statute in 1976 to provide state agencies with business support services. The Division is comprised of several service units and has a workforce of approximately 200 state employees. The Division Director is Scott Madsen and assisting him in managing the Division is Deputy Director Bill Taylor.

Rates
The Division of Central Services sets rates on an annual basis with a mid-year review.
DCS Rules
A public hearing was held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2005 to consider adoption of changes to Central Services Rules 1 CCR 103-1. The changes were adopted and the new rules are effective as of July 1, 2005.
Waivers
Agencies are required by statute to obtain a waiver from using specific services provided by IDS.
