Substantial Amendment to Action Plan for Neighborhood Stabilization Program III
The State of Colorado’s Neighborhood Stabilization Program III (NSP3) Action Plan was approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the grant agreement was executed March 11, 2011, making funds available for expenditure through March 11, 2014. A Substantial Amendment to the Action Plan was submitted to HUD on June 30, 2011, following a 15-day public comment period. The Plan is required under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (2010) in order to receive $6,518,947 in Federal funds from the program. A Continuation of Intergovernmental Joint Cooperation Agreement has been executed to combine into one grant the following entitlements, to be administered by the State of Colorado:
State of Colorado: $5,098,309
City of Colorado Springs: $1,420,638
A public hearing was held by the Colorado Department of Local Affairs for the Action Plan on Friday, June 24, 2011 in Denver, 1313 Sherman St., Room 518 (Mountainside Conference Room) at 9:00 a.m. The plan and appendices are available below, including comments received from the public.
