Colorado 2-1-1

This directory allows the user to search for the most current information on statewide housing and homeless programs, services and products. This link allowing users to locate organizations, programs or products by region, sector, or population served.

 

HUD's Colorado Homeless Information

This website offers information and referrals on a wide range of homeless resources including emergency shelter, emergency food sources, and homeless prevention.

 

Youth Homelessness 

This site offers a wide range of information and referral sources for homeless youth nationally and in Colorado.

 

Continuum of Care Administrators

The following is a list of links for local Continuums of Care that coordinate homeless resources for programs funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and other sources.

 

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless

The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless administers the Homeless Continuum of Care for all Colorado Counties outside of the seven county Metro Denver area and El Paso County.

 

Homeward Pikes Peak

Homeward Pikes Peak administers the Continuum of Care for El Paso County.

Metro Denver Homeless Initiative

The Metro Denver Homeless Initiative administers the Homeless Continuum of care for the seven county Metro Denver area in Colorado.

 

Homeless Organizations and Housing Information

The following is a list of links for homeless organizations and other general resources on homelessness in the State of Colorado.

 

Colorado Community and Interagency Council on Homelessness

The objective of the Council is to make cross-agency and community cooperation the norm in responding to homelessness and to use a more efficient and supportive approach in creating and implementing evidence-based plans to address homelessness and, to the extent possible, end it.

 

Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) 

CSH assists local communities in creating and operating supportive housing.

 

National Alliance to End Homelessness

The National Alliance to End Homelessness is an organization that is dedicated to ending homelessness.  This organization collects data, analyzes policy and makes program recomendations.

 

National Coalition for the Homeless

The National Coalition for the Homeless provides information about and advocacy for persons who are homeless.

 

National Interfaith Hospitality Network 

The Interfaith Hospitality Network coordinates existing local resources for homeless families. These resources include available congregational spaces, donated goods, and volunteers.

 

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)

This website provides information about grants, resources, and research sponsored by HHS.

 

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

This HUD website provides local and national information about homelessness including data about homelessness and resources available to help persons who are homeless.

 

United States Department of Veterans Affairs

This website provides information about federal programs and initiatives for veterans.

 

United States Interagency Council on Homelessness

This association of 19 federal agencies working to create a national partnership at every level of government and with the private sector to reduce and end homelessness in the nation.

 

The National Policy and Advocacy Council on Homelessness

This grass roots anti-poverty organization with the mission to ensure that national homelessness policy accurately reflects the needs and experiences of local communities.
