Preparedness

The Preparedness Section is responsible for the writing, maintenance and exercising of the Colorado State Emergency Operations Plan (SEOP).

The Colorado State Emergency Operations Plan (SEOP) was last updated in 2010 and it follows the format of the National Response Framework (i.e., Basic Plan, Functional, Annexes and Hazard-specific Annexes) and the National Incident Management System (NIMS).

Within the Preparedness section is the Plans Office, Exercise Office, and Training Office.
