Mitigation and Recovery

In the State of Colorado, two pillars of emergency management, mitigation and recovery (M/R), are integrated. Seven staff implement the associated grant programs, facilitate planning processes, conduct risk assessments, and provide technical assistance. The team provides support to the state and local jurisdictions during activations and during recovery and pre- and post-disaster mitigation operations.
