Overview:
To provide a range of services and activities having a measurable and potentially major impact on causes of poverty in the community or those areas of the community where poverty is a particularly acute problem.  Eligible activities include employment, education, income management, housing, emergency services, nutrition, linkages with other programs, self sufficiency, and health.  Colorado has 40 eligible entities that receive CSBG funds annually, which are distributed on a formula basis.  Ninety percent of the funds are allocated to the 38 eligible entities, while five percent is for administration and five percent is reserved to the Governor's discretion.
