2*	The National Society of the Army of the Philippines	East wall of the basement rotunda		The National Society of the Army of the Philippines was organized to secure rights and benefits for veterans of the Spanish-American War and the Philippines War. This plaque commemorates the first meeting of the organization, which was held at the State Capitol on December 1, 1899. received the plaque on behalf of the state.
7**	Creative Capitol Exhibit	Basement rotunda		This is a rotating art exhibit. The exhibit is organized and sponsored by Colorado Creative Industries as part of a program that brings Colorado art to the building. The rotating exhibit may be viewed in the Lieutenant Governor's Office, as well as the basement rotunda.
