Cost

Under CICP, you are responsible for copayments for services received. You will be assigned a "rating" based on your total income and resources. The rating determines the copayment amount that you will be charged for medical services. If you have health insurance and are also eligible for CICP, you may use CICP as a secondary option. Your CICP provider will bill your health insurance first. You will pay the remaining charges your health insurance does not cover or your CICP copayment, whichever amount is lower.
