The Phillips County Assessors’ office is hiring a motivated person for the position of Personal Property/Deed Transfer Clerk. This will be a full-time position with county benefits. The potential candidate must have 2 years’ experience in an office environment and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, computing fractions and have excellent written and verbal skills. A working knowledge of legal descriptions, geometry, and the capability of reading maps, would be very beneficial. This person must have an outgoing personality and strong customer service skills, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity especially when under pressure and possible duress. High school diploma or GED required. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a criminal background investigation inquiry.
