District 1 Commissioner K. Joe Kinnie Current Board Chair
Kinnie was elected to his first term in 2010 so is completing his first term. He is a lifelong resident of northeast Colorado. He is a dryland wheat farmer and was instrumental in introducing no-till practices to the area. He was involved in the effort to bring the TV translator system to rural NE Colorado and currently serves on the rural fire board and the Marks Butte Groundwater District. Kinnie is a life-long member of the NRA, is active in the Republican party and is a member of the First Baptist Church in Holyoke. Kinnie is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing, motorcycling, and shooting sports. Kinnie is married and has 3 grown children. |

District 2 Commissioner Harlan Stern
Stern was elected to his first term in 2012 so is completing his first term. He retired as the Grainland Cooperative Association President and CEO in July, 2009. He retired with 38 years of experience with agricultural cooperatives. Stern is a long-time resident of Holyoke. He has served on many boards, many times as board chair, and on numerous committees. Currently he is serving on the Board of Directors of the East Phillips County Hospital District. Stern enjoys crafting grandfather clocks and other woodworking projects during his free time. Stern is married and has 2 grown children.

District 3 Commissioner Don Lock
Lock was elected in 2012 and is serving his first term. He is a retired plumber, having worked in that occupation for 52 years. Lock is a long-time resident of Haxtun, moving there with his family in 1976. Lock served on the Haxtun Town Board for 14 years and is a retired fireman from the Haxtun Fire Department. Lock belongs to and is active in the Christ the King Catholic church. Lock is married and has 4 grown children.
