Veterans Service Officer - Reon Chaney     3813 County Road 32 Haxtun, CO 80731 (970) 774-6534     Appointed by the County Commissioners in 2003

 It is the duty of the Veterans Service Officer to assist clients in understanding their rights and to assist the client to obtain benefits to which they are entitled by virtue of their service status or relationship to a veteran.  While performing this assistance, the Officer is responsible for establishing and maintaining client files in a confidential manner.  The Office is also directed to cooperate with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Service organizations, and other agencies who deliver veteran benefits or assistance.
