We pursue contracts that achieve a balance of interest and offer the "best value" by developing solicitation criteria that measure factors beyond initial acquisition price.
We actively encourage small businesses - especially minority and women owned firms - to participate in our process.
For more information on the bid process or to register as a vendor, go the Public Purchase website.
Our key objective is to assist in managing cost while maximizing service and quality. We do this in part by examining and implenting value-added procurment services. Additionally, we use vendors, contractors and service providers who exhibit the most cost effective and advantageous financial, technical and staff capabilities.
We also strive to keep as much of our spending local as possible.

Shadow Mountain Village Improvement Project - September 9, 2014
Update September 9, 2014 - Weather delays have caused an unfortunate schedule delay in the concrete and asphalt phases of the project on Cottonwood and Aspen. Concrete should be done by the end of this week and Asphalt will begin the week of September 22nd. This is an unfortunate turn of events and the City, County and Construction Crews appreciate your patience.
The intersection at 9th St. and Aspen WILL BE CLOSED beginning, September 12th. It will be re-open as soon as possible.
Moffat County and Rundle Construction are working as fast as we can and thank you for your patience.
