DIG INTO READING

for all ages

MAY 20 - AUGUST 3

(Check back here May 20 to sign up online!)

The 2013 Summer Reading Program is open to everyone, birth through adult, with programs, prize drawings, story hours, a youth club and more. You can sign up any time during the program, either online or by coming in to the library, starting May 20.

  • Youth (ages 0 to 5th grade):
    Fill up your reading log and turn it in at the library for prizes!
  • Teens (6th grade and up):
    Comlete reading logs and turn them in at the library for prizes! High School students may participate in the adult reading program.
  • Adults (High School students may participate):
    1. Sign up. 2. Read a book. 3. Put your name in a prize drawing. 4. Repeat!

 

SUMMER ACTIVITIES AT THE LIBRARY:

 

CRAIG BRANCH

  • Story Time for children on Thursdays. During the summer (Starting May 30) it will be at 10 a.m. only, at the library.
  • Youth Club Wednesdays 3:00-4:00 p.m. (starting May 29). Cool crafts and activities for children 8 and older (for reading program participants only).
  • Boredom Busters for kids—pick up your craft at the library (1 per week, for reading program participants only).

 

 

DINOSAUR BRANCH

 

  • Story Times Mondays 2-3 p.m. for ages preschool-5th grade, and Tuesdays 2-3 p.m. for ages 6th grade-High School.
  • Youth Club Watch the library schedule for special Youth Club dates and times!

 

 

Registration begins May 20, online and at the library. All programs are free of charge. For more information, call the library at (970) 824-5116.
