Assessed Valuation of Moffat County

The 2013 total taxable assessed value for Moffat County is $466,342,922, and the total tax revenue was $30,826,587.25.  Property tax revenue (45%) is derived from state assessed properties, such as the power plant and interstate pipelines. Another significant source of revenue (31%) is our natural resources such as coal, oil and gas production.
