It is the mission of the Moffat County Administration Department to assist County Department Heads and Elected Officials to successfully manage their departments, assist the County to use their resources effectively and efficiently and to serve the citizens of Moffat County by providing accurate and timely information.

The Administration office works closely with all County departments to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations. The Budget Analyst provides financial direction to County offices and provides support to the Board of County Commissioners. Other duties include implementing Board policies and decisions, preparing the county budget, writing and administering grants, assisting department heads and elected officials with finance duties, coordinating the annual audit, overseeing sales tax distributions, and fixed asset accounting.
