Commodity Programs (CSFP & TEFAP)

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) are designed to provide nutritional needs for low-income populations. CSFP Participants come to the distribution center monthly to collect food items and TEFAP participants come quarterly. People who qualify include low income pregnant, post-partum and breast feeding women, and children up to age six from low income families (CSFP/WIC), low income people over age 60 (CSFP/Elderly) and low income families (TEFAP).

Fourth Tuesday of every month from 8:00-12:00

MOSCA DISTRIBUTION (5385 Barker St. @ the Methodist Church)

Fourth Tuesday of every month 2:00-3:00

GARCIA DISTRIBUTION- Second Wednesday of every month

FORT GARLAND/BLANCA DISTRIBUTION (Blanca-Fort Garland Community Center)

Second Wednesday of every month 11:00-12:30

MONTE VISTA (2160 Sherman Ave, Calvary Baptist Church)–

Third Wednesday of every month1:00-4:00

DEL NORTE (Annex Bld on 6th Street)–

Third Wednesday of every month 9:00-11:30

 

DOCUMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY

Proof of income      (check stubs or copies of checks, award letters, etc.)

Proof of address     (copy of utility bills, etc.)

Proof of child's birth (certificate of birth or childs immunization record)

Picture ID                (drivers license)
