The Colorado Reapportionment Commission adopted a Final House District Plan on November 19, 2001, and a Final Senate District Plan on November 27, 2001. These plans were submitted to the Colorado Supreme Court on December 7, 2001 for review, and were remanded back to the Commission on January 28 for changes and re-examination. The Commission reconvened on February 7, 2002 to adopt amended plans to resubmit to the Court. These amended plans are currently accessible on our website under the map category "Adopted Plan - February 7". The Colorado Supreme Court issued its second decision on February 22, 2002, upholding the amended House and Senate plans. These plans were transmitted to the Secretary of State later on February 22, 2002, for implementation.
