2013 Joint Select Committee on the Implementation of A64 Task Force Recommendations

Following the passage of Amendment 64 in November 2012, Governor John Hickenlooper established a 24-member task force to identify legal, policy, and procedural issues concerning Amendment 64. The task force completed its work on February 28, 2013, and has posted a final report of its recommendations.  A link to the report is found at the bottom of this page.

The Joint Select Committee on the Implementation of the Amendment 64 Task Force is directed to evaluate the work of the task force, to solicit public feedback regarding its recommendations, and to refer legislation to the General Assembly for consideration based on the task force's recommendations. The committee is required to hold at least one public meeting.

The purpose of the Joint Select Committee is to make the process of recommending legislation regarding the Amendment 64 Task Force recommendations as open and transparent as possible, and to give citizens an opportunity to express their views and any concerns they might have in regards to the recommendations by the task force.
