Legislative Council of the Colorado General Assembly
Since 1953, the Legislative Council Staff has served as the nonpartisan research arm of the Colorado General Assembly. The staff serves under the direction of a Director of Research appointed by an 18-member legislative committee. The Legislative Council Staff's role is to provide staff support to legislative committees, respond to requests for research and constituent services, prepare fiscal notes, provide revenue projections, and perform other centralized legislative support services.
