The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) launched its new website (www.cbi.state.co.us) for residents and visitors in mid-July.
A visually-appealing design and ease of navigation are two of the primary features of the updated website dedicated to CBI activity and services. In addition to information about CBI, there are many other resources for visitors to access including links to many state and federal agencies.
Another advanced feature on the site is increased visibility for the Amber Alert program. The Amber Alert logo will always be prominently displayed on the main page of the site; however, when there is an active alert in Colorado the icon will change colors and provide specific information about the alert.
CBI also introduces its newly created social media sites as part of the website. The Bureau will use social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr to share information about CBI activity and services.
“We are very excited to present such a comprehensive website for people seeking information related to CBI,” said CBI Director Ron Sloan. “We believe our updated website will provide visitors with extensive information and services in a very user-friendly manner.”
