2014 Eligibility Survey Process is now CLOSED
The information provided through the eligibility survey process has been compiled and the 2014 Intended Use Plans are now with the Water Quality Control Commission (WQCC) for approval.
On Monday, October 7, 2013, the Water Quality Control Commission (WQCC) will hold a public Administrative Action Hearing beginning at 9:00 a.m.in the CDPHE Florence Sabin Conference Room at 4300 Cherry Creek Drive South, Denver, CO 80246-1530. This hearing is to consider approval of the Water Quality Control Division’s proposed FY 2014 Intended Use Plans for the Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund (WPCRF) and the Drinking Water Revolving Fund (DWRF).
On an annual basis the Intended Use Plans undergo a revision and approval process, after which they become effective for the forthcoming fiscal year. The proposed intended use plans for FY 2014 funding are available from the WQCC offices, as well as from the WQCC website at: http://www.colorado.gov/cs/Satellite/CDPHE-WQCC/CBON/1251590840936.
The intent of this notice is to provide you the opportunity to review the proposed plans, along with their associated eligibility lists, prior to the hearing. Communities/Entities who responded to the annual eligibility survey and have identified capital improvement needs for their water and/or sewer systems, should review the Project Eligibility List (Appendix A of both plans) to ensure that we have accurately represented the capital improvement needs of those systems on these list(s).
Oral and/or written comments will be accepted at the hearing; however, the Commission strongly encourages the submission of written comments, corrections or recommendations. Any written submissions should be received at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment mail room by September 25, 2013, if feasible, so that they can be distributed to the Commission for review prior to the hearing. The Commission requests that sixteen (16) double-sided copies of all written statements be submitted and suggests that additional copies be made available at the hearing for attendees. Anyone for whom the expense of providing these copies presents an economic hardship should contact the Commission Office to make alternative arrangements. If feasible, please also transmit an electronic copy of any written statements to email@example.com, so that such statements can be posted on the Commission’s web site for review by interested persons.
