Buffalo Trace Distillery issues voluntary recall

of certain brand name sauces and marinades due to undeclared allergens

 

 

   The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment today announced a voluntary recall by Buffalo Trace Distillery of all non-expired products listed below due to mislabeling and undeclared allergens.

   There have been no reported cases of illness at this time. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat, soy, milk and/or fish run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

   The recalled units were distributed between January 2012 to January 2013 to retail grocery stores, specialty stores, liquor stores and online in Colorado and many other states and territories No other products are involved.

   Customers may return these products to the place of purchase for full refund or call the Buffalo Trace Gift Shop at 800-654-8471, from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday to Friday or 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturdays. All times are Eastern Daylight Time.
