Proper Drug Disposal for Long Term Care FacilitiesHalf-Day Workshop
Beginning in September 2013, Long Term Care Facilities will be required to certify that they are properly disposing of pharmaceutical and other wastes. This workshop is designed to provide an overview of waste management and disposal requirements for representatives of any licensed Colorado Long Term Care Facility. Content may be most useful for Administrators, Directors of Nursing and Directors of Facilities.

Self-Certification Checklists as a Learning Tool
Use the self-certification checklists as a training tool throughout the year to help your facility stay in compliance with state regulations. Please use the special training versions provided below - DO NOT complete and submit one of these checklists to the Division. If you would like to discuss the results of your survey and/or schedule a free onsite compliance assistance visit, please contact the Generator Assistance Program (GAP) coordinator.
Note: If you have received a notice that completion of a self-certification survey is mandaotry for your facility, DO NOT use this form. Your notice includes information on how to access the official self-certification checklist that is required for your site.
