Records Review

Most radiation management and solid and hazardous waste files are available for public review under the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) in the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division Records Center.
Records review requests for files pertaining to facilities regulated by the Air Pollution Control Division, the Water Quality Control Division or other division at the Department must be directed to that specific division.
Records Review Hours: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except state holidays

Please contact the Records Center to request a file review. Requests can be submitted in writing by letter, fax or email, or by telephone.
All requests must include the following information:
- Date of request
- Company name
- Requester's name
- Requester's telephone number
- Company address
AND
- Site name or residing company for review
- Site street address
- City, zip code, county
- Aliases, if any
At the time of the review, all requestors will be required to provide photo identification such as a Driver's License or state photo ID prior to the review. The ID will be returned when the review is completed. The reviewer may take notes, bring tape recording devices, and/or portable computers. Outside photocopiers are not allowed.
