All documents will be available for public review at the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division Records Center during normal business hours. In addition, Information Repositories are located throughout Pueblo County, and will contain current working documents, figures and drawings. Information Repositories are not intended to contain the complete Administrative Record; rather Information Repositories are intended to make review of current work documents easily accessible to the public.  The list and locations of the Information Repositories can be found in the drop-down menu below.

 

 

Note:  The Public Comment Period for the Explosive Destruction System is open from October 25 through December 27.  Because it is not a modification to the the PCAPP RD&D permit it is located on the Class 3 Permit Modification to the Pueblo Chemical Depot Hazardous Waste Permit web page.  Look for the Explosive Destruction System drop-down menu.

October 18, 2013  This public comment period is open from October 18 through December 17.  A public meeting to discuss this modification request will be held November 13, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Pueblo District Attorney's Office, 700 Court Street in Pueblo.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment issued the first phase of a Research, Development and Demonstration Hazardous Waste Permit to the US Army and Bechtel National, Incorporated. The Pilot Plant is being built under a Research, Development and Demonstration Permit to allow for design, construction, systemization and pilot testing of the process that will destroy the stockpile of chemical weapons currently stored at the Pueblo Chemical Depot near Pueblo, Colorado.
