Waste Tires

Pile of Tires

Registration / Registration Renewal

The regulations require haulers of waste tires and facilities that generate, collect, store, process and / or use waste tires register with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (the department).  For companies with more than one location, each location must be registered separately. Waste tire haulers are required to renew their registration by February 1 of each year.  Waste tire facilities must renew their registration every three years.

The following forms work best with an Internet Exporer 8 or newer browser. Please hit the submit button only once as it may take a few moments to process your submission. Please allow 2-4 weeks to receive your certificate of registration and decals, if applicable.

Annual Reporting

Waste tire haulers, processors, end users, collection facilities and monofills are required to submit a waste tire annual report to the department by April 1 of each year.

If you need assistance completing the waste tire registration or annual reporting forms, or have other waste tire questions, please email cdphe.hmwastetires@state.co.us .
