Funding Program

The Emergency Medical and Trauma Services (EMTS) Section is funded primarily from the Emergency Medical Services Account of the Highway User’s Tax Fund based on a $2 fee on each motor vehicle registered in the state. Approximately $6.7 million of these funds is available each year through grants and system improvement funding opportunities for organizations involved in providing emergency medical and trauma services in Colorado.

Manage your provider grant or system improvement project by submitting a progress report or requesting reimbursement on items or services purchased and delivered.

Apply for EMTS funding through a provider grant application, a system improvement funding request, a CREATE education grant or an emergency grant application.
