The Waste Tire Market Development Fund was established to encourage waste tire market development in Colorado.

Award: $195,358

 

Tetra Tech was selected to create a market development plan for the state of Colorado. The goal of the project is to create a plan that will expand on and create new markets for both newly-generated and stockpiled waste tires.

South I-25 Urban Corridor Transportation Management Association

Project Title: TMA – Pilot Tire Mulch Project

Award: $24,640

A coalition of local governments will be piloting the use of tire-derived mulch at two intersections (I-25 & Orchard and I-25 & County Line) to determine the feasibility of using this material in place of traditional landscape material.
