Food and Product Recalls
|
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's Division of Environmental Health and Sustainability assists in the coordination of product recalls for food, drugs, cosmetics and medical devices throughout the state. Division staff members work as closely as possible with product distributors, manufacturers, the federal Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to ensure the general public is notified of all applicable recalls and that implicated products are promptly removed from retailers' shelves.
Each recall is placed on this page when the Division has been made aware of it. Additional information regarding each recall, including specific product names or variations, lot codes and affected UPC codes can be found by clicking the link provided in the "More Information" section of each recall, which may redirect you to the FDA or USDA recall databases.
The Division posts these recalls as a matter of public health. No endorsement is provided to either the company or product in question. |
