Launching an Occupational Safety and Health Network
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is convening Worksafe Colorado, a network of people and professionals interested in preventing workplace illnesses and injuries. Worksafe Colorado aims to ensure that health and safety activities and leadership throughout the state are effectively channeled into a cooperative and successful effort.
Anyone with an interest or stake in workplace safety and health can be part of this exciting initiative. Broad-based, inclusive representation is essential to ensure the network meets the diverse and complex needs of employers, workers, researchers, policy makers and others. Please read the strategic plan and find out how to get involved by contacting Amy.Warner@state.co.us, or by attending our next meeting.
