Oil and Gas Emission Control Requirements

Stricter emission control requirements for the oil and gas industry have been in place in Colorado since 2007 to reduce the emissions of volatile organic compounds that contribute to the formation of ozone.

New control requirements were established for condensate tanks in both the Front Range ozone non-attainment area and statewide. New reporting and record keeping requirements were also established.
