Construction Permit Unit

The Construction Permit Unit issues construction permits to commercial and industrial air pollution sources in Colorado in order to ensure compliance with air quality regulations. The regulations are designed to protect the public's health and welfare and to maintain ambient air quality standards. Approximately 1,500 construction permit applications are processed each year.
