UI News and Alerts

April 11, 2013

Federal extended benefits, also known as Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC), will be reduced due to the federal budget cuts. If you begin a new tier of EUC on or after April 28, 2013, you will see a reduction of 18.2 percent in both your weekly benefit amount and your total benefit amount.

If you begin a new tier of EUC benefits after April 28, 2013, we will send you a notice that will include the new EUC benefit amounts. You will continue to be paid according to your current benefit amount until the new tier begins.

You may check your claim details using MyUI Claimant. If you would like to register with MyUI Claimant, go to www.coloradoui.gov/myui. Continue to make your payment request as scheduled.
