Green
Jobs Grant Opportunity:
The Green Jobs Colorado Advisory Council has awarded six grants through the Green Jobs Training Program grant through the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) and the Governor’s Energy Office (GEO). The Green Jobs training program was established by HB 10-1333 in order to ensure Colorado’s future competitive advantage and prepare our workforce to meet the oncoming demand for green job skills in the New Energy Economy. The Green Jobs Training Program awarded applications from renewable energy and energy efficiency industry-driven training projects likely to result in job placement and/or business expansion.

Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Grant Opportunity:

The 2010 Colorado Workforce Development Council WIA 10% Discretionary grant solicitation has closed. The Council approved 5 proposals for funding on March 18, 2011.
