- The BETR Project's primary goal is to help prepare students for jobs after graduation, increase the flow of workforce-ready students exiting the educational pipeline and reduce the number of dropouts. BETR's programs are designed to expose teachers to the world of business and help them gain an understanding of business needs and real life applications of classroom learning.

**Services provided by CDLE are given veteran's and eligible spouses priority of service. Veteran, for the sole purpose of Priority of Service, means a person who served at least one day in the active military, naval, or air service, and who was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable. Active service includes full-time Federal service in the National Guard or a Reserve component.
