The Pueblo Workforce Investment Board is business-led with a majority of its members representing the private sector and other board members representing organized labor and community-based organizations, education, economic development organizations and state agencies and individuals with disabilities.
The Board is representative of the local area in which is serves Pueblo county. A member from each local Workforce Investment Board represents the local region’s need on the Colorado Rural Workforce Investment Board.
As of June 2012, the Pueblo region has assisted 50% of the region’s job seekers to find employment at an average wage of $12.88 per hour. (9002 Report)
