The Patients' Accounts work unit ust identify and record the Gross Revenue for all patient/client services assigned within the Southern Accounting District.  Currently, these agencies are the Colorado Mental Health Institutes at Pueblo (CMHIP) and Ft. Logan (CMHIFL), Pueblo Regional Center (PRC), and the Wheat Ridge Regional Center (WRRC).  Patients' Accounts also must determine, adjust, bill, and collect net revenue from all Third Party Payers, and determine patient/client Ability to Pay.  Patients' Accounts serves as fiduciary and Trustee for Patients' personal funds at CMHIP, CMHIFL, PRC, and WRRC.  Colorado Revised Statutes and Department of Human Services Rules and Regulations establish reporting requirements for this unit.
